Merge User
The merge user functionality can be used to copy roles and claims from one user to another.
To start a merge navigate to the user details page of the user you want to merge from (the source user) and click the merge button.
You will then need to select the destination user. You can use the search and pagination to filter the current selection to find the user you want to merge into.
Then, select what action you wish to make for each claimtype avaliable on the source user.
- Ignore - Do not copy this claim.
- Replace - Remove any existing claims with matching claimtypes on the destination user before copying the new claims from the source user.
- Combine - Copy all claims of this claimtype to the destination user.
You can also choose to delete the source user here after the merge has completed.
You will then see a summary of claims that will be added/removed from the destination user.
Finally select "Save", the merge will be completed and you will be navigated to the destination user.
